Alzheimer’s Support
portsmouth@alzheimers.org.uk
Thank you for getting in touch with the Alzheimer’s Society. Please find enclosed our service leaflet reflecting our current services. We can offer support and information to anyone with a diagnosis of Dementia. Our face to face service are currently suspended but as you can see we can support people affected by dementia over the phone and with our virtual groups. To make a referral please forward the person’s details to this email address and we will contact them. The Kitbags groups moved over to the Royal British Legion some time ago, I believe they are currently suspended however the team are keeping in touch and providing welfare calls so it would be worth contacting them too.
Please do get in touch if we can be of any help to your team and the people you support.
Kind regards,
Gina Mula

Harbour Cancer Support Centre
Thank you for your email. Due to COVID-19 and the current lockdown we are only able to offer over the phone counselling and befriending at the moment – Our services are self-referral so can just telephone our number on our website or email. Are phone lines are monitored regularly. Would you like me to send any cards or leaflets over to you? Just before the second lockdown we did start face to face counselling again, hopefully once the lockdown is lifted we are hoping to offer that again to our clients.
