Call 111 - When it is less urgent than 999

Same Day Appointments

If you feel that you require medical advice on the day for a new condition with symptoms less than 48 hours old, please call the surgery. A receptionist will ask for some basic details to ensure that you are directed the the most appropriate clinician.

If you have central chest pain or extreme shortness of breath you will be told by reception to call 999.

The clinic is not for patients with Ongoing or Long Term medical conditions.

Community Pharmacy Consultation Service

We are participating in a new approach to improve access for patients to GP appointments. The aim is to direct patients to the most appropriate healthcare professional, which may be a GP or a pharmacist.

If your symptoms could be resolved by a booked consultation with the pharmacist instead of the GP, you will be given a same-day referral to a pharmacy of your choice.

We think this is a good thing. Once you see how great your local pharmacist is – they are highly trained and skilled clinicians experienced in treating minor illnesses – we don’t think you’ll look back.

This will also help us to free up GP appointments for people with more complex health needs and ensure that everyone gets treated at the right time, by the right healthcare professional.

More information about this service can be found at How your Pharmacy can help

Routine Appointments

If you have an ongoing condition that requires advice or medical treatment please complete an online eConsult..

If the Clinician feels that you need to be seen, they will organise a time with you to attend the practice. We do ask that you wear a face covering when attending.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
